IN RE: AMENDMENT OF RULE 7, RULES OF THE TENNESSEE
SUPREME COURT
No. ADM2020-00479
ORDER
The Tennessee Board of Law Examiners has filed a petition to amend Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 7, which governs the admission and licensing of attorneys in this State. The proposed amendments relate to the applicable standard for character and fitness in section 6.01, conditional admission in section 10.05, and various technical changes and corrections. Comments should reference the above docket number and should be e-mailed to
appellatecourtclerk@tncourts.gov
or mailed to: James M. Hivner, Clerk, Tennessee Appellate Courts, 100 Supreme Court Building, 401 7th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37219-1407.
The deadline for submitting written comments has been extended to June 22, 2020.
