This program is also offered as a webinar broadcast live through Zoom. The program has been approved for 1 hour of Dual CLE credit and 1 hour of General CLE credit.
Presenters who deal with government contracts every day will walk you through the contracting process from the cradle to the grave. They will cover acquisition planning, types of contracts, solicitations, standard terms and conditions, awards and protests, contract management, changes, disputes, and terminations. You’ll receive a high-level road map of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Ten Tips for Contracting with the Government. We’ll also discuss ethical issues that arise in government contracts and what your clients must do to satisfy the government’s expectations for performing with good behavior--and properly disclosing bad behavior when you see it.

ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS
1. You can join this meeting with almost any device. For mobile devices, find the Zoom Meetings on the App Store or Google Play Store and pre-install. For a desktop or laptop computer, the link to pre-install is: https://zoom.us/download. You can then leave the meeting and then re-join again at the appointed meeting time. Absent a computer or mobile device, you can just join with a telephone call (audio only), but the best meeting experience by far is to use a computer or iPad, so you can see others and what is being presented.
2. For computer/mobile device connection: If you don’t already have the Meetings app installed, you will be prompted to do a quick installation when you click the meeting link. Once installed, you don’t need to “sign in” or “create an account”, you just need to join the meeting. Only the host of a meeting has to have an account. Once you join with your computer, you will be asked if you want to use the computer audio or dial in by telephone for your audio. You can use computer audio if you have a headset or are on a mobile device or laptop with camera/mic – webcams are encouraged; otherwise, dial in via telephone for your audio, following the on-screen instructions.
3. If you encounter any technical difficulties at all during the meeting, and it is persistent, sometimes it is best just to leave the meeting and then rejoin it. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions as a result of the test above, just contact KBA Office well before the meeting so that we can resolve.
