The Knoxville Bar Association's Law Practice Today Expo is where legal professionals learn law practice management best practices and tips on using technology more efficiently. You will find programming to help lawyers and their staff adapt to the changing needs of their clients. CLE sessions have been designed to be meaningful to firms of all sizes, across all legal disciplines. We promise that you will leave the Expo with something you can put to immediate use.
Discover solutions, new technology, and emerging trends. Customize your Expo experience by selecting the courses that will most benefit you and your firm. Attendees can choose from up to 22 CLE sessions on Thursday and Friday with flexible registration options. Discounted rates for staff, 2020/2021 bar admittees, and law students. Members can earn up to 15 hours of CLE Credit with the All-Expo passes for just $375.

Within our Software Track, our expert will demonstrate how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and PDFs to save time and receive free resources like a pre-built, customizable template that can be modified using the built-in formatting tools. The Efficiency Track provides sessions on time management and increasing efficiency. The Security Track offers important updates on data security best practices and working remote. Learn legal tech tips and what inexpensive equipment you need for your law office during the Tech Tools Track. The Litigation Track offers sessions on electronically stored information and document review platforms. The Essential Software track provides CLE on email management and software must-haves to ensure that technology is an asset and not a liability for your firm.
COVID PROTOCOLS:
The KBA Board of Governors is fully aware of the ongoing and changing COVID/Delta variant concerns facing all of us. The safety of our attendees is our top priority. The KBA will comply with any protocols or requirements of any venue in place at the time of an event or program. In the absence of more restrictive venue protocols, we ask that all unvaccinated attendees wear a mask during indoor KBA events. Further, masks are encouraged, but not required, for vaccinated individuals. We will continue to work with event venues to ensure maximum protection and will have ample opportunities for spacing and social distancing. Protocols may be adjusted in response to changes in the local COVID situation. Attendees who develop symptoms of COVID or test positive within 14 days of an event are asked to contact the KBA.
Individuals attending in-person KBA events do so with an acknowledgement and acceptance of the associated risks.
